Hawaii: Four Islands!
April 3-14, 2027 — FULL!
Birding Tour in Hawaii
Immerse yourself in Hawaii’s island culture as we tour Oahu, Kauai, Maui and The Big Island in search of endemic honeycreepers, seabirds, shorebirds and more.
The Hawaiian Islands are the most isolated archipelago in the world. A birder’s paradise, there are 29 endemic bird species including an entire subfamily of birds know as Hawaiian Honeycreepers.
Our tour will visit the remote areas where these spectacular birds remain active in spite of threats from lost habitat, introduced predators like mongooses, rats and cats and disease like avian malaria. We’ll spend a day at sea to view the many seabirds that breed near these remote islands, and we’ll hike to a protected colony of nesting Laysan Albatross!
